Our Staff Members


The staff members of Remedy Addictions Counselors are unique because they combine academic clinical training and experience with spirituality.

At RAC, clients are seen as people with issues and/or diseases; whatever the case, there’s Remedy. Our staff will treat each person with care, mutual respect; ethically, and professionally at all times.

On our staff includes individuals with Doctorate degrees, Masters degrees, Bachelor degrees, degrees in Licensed Professional Counseling, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counseling, Certified Christian Counseling, Certified Criminal Justice Specialist as well as a Medical Doctor.

Below is a brief introduction to three top members of our treatment team.


Eddie Osuagwu - Chief Executive Officer

The founder and Chief Executive Officer of Remedy Addictions Counselors – RAC, Inc. He holds a Masters of Science degree. Mr. Osuagwu is a licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor, Certified Criminal Justice Specialist, and Certified Christian Specialist Counselor. He is a member of American Counseling Association, National Association for Addiction Professionals, and Texas Association of Addictions Professionals. With nearly ten years experience in the addiction field, counseling adolescents and adults, Eddie Osuagwu has proven success in implementing substance abuse treatment techniques. As a Certified Christian Specialist Counselor, he does not impose his views about Christianity on clients. The client chooses counseling modality. As a Certified Criminal Justice Specialist, Mr. Osuagwu sees convicted criminals as people that can be rehabilitated. He believes that recovering from addictions requires time and efforts and encourages the justice system and significant others of recovering addicts to be patient with them. The patients are encouraged to be patience, too.

Dr. Gregory Skie - Medical Director

A Medical Doctor comes to Remedy Addictions Counselors with huge clinical and academic experiences. Dr. Skie is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner, a Diplomat, has a Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, and has Certifications in Occupational Medicine and Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Collage of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, and the Undersea and Hyperbolic Medical Society, among others. Dr. Skie also teaches Management of Cardiac Emergencies. He maintains full time employment in an area hospital and does "Updates In Meningitis" for two local Television stations. In the area of Substance Abuse, Dr. Skie has first hand experience. He has seen Drug/Alcohol abusers and addicts in the Emergency Room. He is certified as United States Drug Enforcement Agent and Texas Dept of Public Safety.


Frances Green - Clinical Director

Frances is a Licensed Master Social Worker in a number of areas as well as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, Certified Alcohol, Drug Abuse Counselor, and a DOT Substance Abuse Professional. Fran has over twenty-four years of experience in treating both addictions and dual disorders.
