Remedy
addictions Counselors-RAC Inc.
is a state of Texas licensed agency.
We provide both mental Health and Substance
Abuse/Chemical Dependency counseling to adolescents and adults. Our services
are available to males and females from ages thirteen and up. Under certain
conditions someone younger than thirteen years old may be admitted for substance
abuse counseling.

We believe that whatever negative life experience an
individual has gone or is going through, there’s Remedy.
Behavioral problems and/or Chemical Abuse/Dependency could be chronic, progressive,
and fatal. The negative impacts of addiction to the individual, the family,
friends, and the society at large tend to be severe. Mindful of this fact,
we have put together a program that addresses Substance Abuse/Chemical Dependency
and Mental health issues.
Our approach is holistic in that the individual, family, and significant others
are encouraged to be part of the program. We work with the justice system,
churches, and other community agencies. The principles of Reality Therapy,
Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy, Belief Therapy and the Disease Concept
of chemical dependency are utilized. The principles of the 12 steps of Alcoholic
Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, and other effective behavior modification
approaches that promote total well being of the person are applied.
